The secret to amazing puppies is amazing parents! Our parents are very carefully chosen, and the health, beauty, and temperament of our puppies is second to none! From the day they are born, they are accustomed to being handled and loved on! As they grow older and are able to play and interact more, they get lots of loving and playtime with the kids. They are very child friendly, and love people of all sizes and ages. They will happily romp and play, and then just as happily cuddle up on someone’s lap and go right to sleep! Our children are definitely a very vital part of our puppies’ lives!
Puppies are handled from the day they are born until they move into their new homes. We use a method called Bio Sensory Training also known as Super Dog Program which was developed by the military for service/therapy/search and rescue dogs. BST research proves that early neurological stimulation exercises between days 3-16 of age shape a puppy socially for life. (See "The Bio-sensory Program Explained" page)
Our home is smoke free and we do not use any harsh or toxic chemicals to clean. There are a variety of surface textures in our home to prepare our puppies for their new homes; hardwood, carpet, and linoleum inside and grass and gravel stone outside. We never expose our dogs or puppies to an unclean/unhealthy environment and don't use any products on them that we don't trust on our own skin or in our own stomachs.
